Wow. That was fascinating. Shadow Cat had definitely developed a prescence of his own by the second half of the video.

Elmo appears so robust in comparison with little Pixie and the late Maurice. I enjoyed watching his shadow keep pace. I have a cat who greets me by standing on her haunches as Elmo does at the end. I wonder what he saw [?]

Elmo's patience in waiting for his human was wonderful to see. Also liked seeing him "sit up" for a better vantage point at about 3:15.

And lovely markings. How come your middle doesn't go from side to side when you walk? all three of mine when they walk, their middle goes opposite to the side they're stepping on -- and the black one, who's a bit of a chub, his tummy wattle wattles from side to side when he trots. you must be very svelt, Elmo, from all your walkabouts.

Hello!
Just wanted to say I found you on Beauty Flows, and have become one of your newest followers. Your blog appeals to me as I have one beautiful ginger cat, (as well as a lovely black fluffy cat).
As well I love children's books, and have since having my son 30 years ago. I have been a childcare worker for 25 years, and so read wonderful children's books daily, they are truly a gift. My children thrive on books. (I have 2 bookcases which I keep filled for them, rotating regularly from the library.)

I am really, really happy to have found you and am just incredibly impressed by your blog!

I enjoy this nature walk by Elmo!
These nature sounds are so peaceful. And his shadow is very easy to see, and fascinating to observe.
